This is my first commissioned piece! Done for a co-worker. The boys are her girlfriend's children; she wanted me to do the portrait for Mother's Day as a gift! So needless to say, I was nervous because A) it's the first work I've been PAID to do and B) it was a gift for someone else! YIKES! But I'm really proud of how this one turned out. It really looks like her kids, and overall I'm happy with it!
Used HB - 9B pencils, kneaded and chunk erasers, tissues/tortillions/Q-Tips for blending, and a standard mechanical pencil. Roughly 10 - 12 hours total. And I do apologize for the lame title - I am AWFUL with titles! Comments
