Digital painting #2! I do love the Farscape. Although Spanky is classic, I actually think Buckwheat is my fave nickname for Rygel. I still have some issues with this (the "cloth" on his collar is not very clothlike at ALL) and I know I crapped out on the bg, but I'm satisfied and proud of it! Just furthering my quest to hone my digital skills.
Technical junk: - About 18ish hours - Done in Photoshop Elements 3.0 with a Wacom tablet - Hair and cloth kick my butt......
Comments and critiques much welcome!
Farscape and all it's characters are copyrighted to Jim Henson Co.
Wicked cool yo! (and the cloth isn't THAT horrible ). I can't wait fer your next one

Now's the time to rearrange your life live for something outside of your own mind we all dream the same dream every night to burn the world that you call civilized
However, ONE word of advice. I'm a Fashion major, so part of my grade in clothes is paying attention to details and symmetry (or asymmetry, if that's the design). The studs on your collar are off just a little (one extra, and denser on the left side). I have seen Farscape, but am no die-hard fan...perhaps it's accurate. But just to advise you in the future to double-check stuff like that. Your other one bleewwwww my mind. Hope this isn't taken in any way other than the purely helpful input it's supposed to be. No negativity, I swear!
Alright... I am totally in awe now. First Scorpie, now Rygel. Any chance of a Zhaan pic ever??? You really have a lot of talent, I hope to see more of your works in the future... may just have to 'stalk' you to be sure.

Daily Literature Deviations is a group that is dedicated to bringing literature to the forefront of the deviantArt community. We attempt to accomplish this by daily featuring Literature artists from around the community that deserve the recognition, but are not getting it. Each day we will feature 5 deviations from the Literature categories in a News Article.
In order to support the artists that we feature, we ask that you the news article as well as check out the individual pieces. We understand that each day you may not be able to check out each and every one of the pieces, everyone has their own things going on. We just ask that you make an attempt to help support the growing Literature community.
Discussing page views, activity and popularity, ~ChaoticSkye explores the inner workings of the community on deviantART from her point of view.
Although this does not apply to everyone, we hope the article is a worthwhile read and that the majority perceive things from a different point of view from reading this.
