My entry for the Traditional Artists Music Contest. Amy Lee rocking out on the mic!
I have a very love hate relationship with this piece....As for the portrait part, I like that a lot. Added a couple of my own tweaks, overall I like the face. But the background can burn in hell. Again and again! Had a couple funky spots with the paper (hence the random light colored lines) and couldn't get them to go away. Could have adjusted them in PS, but this piece is for a contest so I didn't do any digital editing (except a bit of contrast adjustment to cut down on glare). But here it is, thanks for looking! Oh yeah, title is not only one of my favorite Evanescence songs, but also suits how I feel about this piece. So I figured what the heck, it's appropriate. _____________________ Supplies Used:  Derwent Pencils, HB - 9B Tissue, Tortillions for blending Chunk erasers, and kneaded erasers. Approx. 18+ hours |
